After you pass, you'll get a temporary license with the 'P' endorsement. Your actual license arrives by mail in about two weeks. The endorsement is valid for four years, same as your CDL. You'll need to retake the knowledge test when you renew.

Michigan doesn't allow online testing for CDL endorsements. You must show up in person. Bring your current driver's license, CDL permit, and medical examiner's certificate. If you're a veteran, you might qualify for a fee waiver – ask at the counter.
